11 Best Flea Markets In Berlin
Last Updated on May 27, 2025
Curious about the best flea markets in Berlin? Or maybe you’ve just heard the phrase “Berlin is poor but sexy”? Even though times are changing, it’s still mostly rings true. Hitting up the flea markets is a true Berliner’s sport and are the way some of the coolest people in town stay so well-dressed on a budget.
The flea markets here are plentiful and offer something for almost everyone: offering up everything from art and antiques to DDR vintage furniture to something unique to wear to the club tonight.
They offer a chance to find unique vintage finds, support local vendors, and experience the city’s vibrant atmosphere. This guide highlights some of the best flea markets in Berlin, categorized by their specialties and unique features.
Berlin Flea Market Culture
Berlin is a huge, hip urban city, with a tiny amount of consignment stores. Result? Flea markets! It’s common for Berliners to spend the day at a flea market selling off their used clothing (as opposed to garage sales, selling on Vinted, etc.)
It’s also important to remember that Berlin’s retail stores are closed on Sundays, another reason why flea markets are such a perfect weekend activity. You literally can’t go shopping elsewhere, which is in part why this activity is so popular here. (That’s also why there tends to be a major flea market in every kiez or neighborhood.)
The markets themselves offer a treasure trove of second-hand goods, from vintage clothing and furniture to antiques and art. Some markets are better known for certain items, so if you’re on the hunt for something in particular, do your research.
Most flea markets operate on Sundays, with a few also open on Saturdays.
Best Flea Markets in Berlin

1. Flohmarkt am Mauerpark
Every Sunday, you can follow the crowds in Prenzlauer Berg who make their weekly pilgrimage to this flea market. Mauerpark is hands down the largest and most popular flea market in Berlin. It’s well-known for its international food, interesting vendors, and lively atmosphere. Plus there’s karaoke nearby! This is a great all-in-one choice if you’re looking to make a day of it. However, if you’re more focused on finding incredible deals or more unique pieces, then it’s probably not the best choice for you.
What: Almost everything under the sun, international food vendors, records, vintage, local designers, old & new
Where: Mauerpark, Bernauer Strasse 63-64, 13355 Prenzlauer Berg | Map
When: Sundays 9-18:00

2. Neukölln Flohmarkt (Maybachufer)
If you want cast-offs direct from a hip Berliner’s closet, the Neukölln flea market is one of your best bets. This one is positively brimming with all your second-hand fashion needs, collectibles, art and more. On the downside, it’s relatively small and, since it’s so popular, it also gets crowded so my best advice is to go as early as possible.
What: Mostly used & vintage clothing, shoes, etc.
When: Every second Sunday 10-17 April till October
Where: Maybachufer 31, 12047 Neukölln | Map

3. Rathaus Schöneberg Flea Market
Schöneberg Flohmarkt is one of the few remaining original flea markets in Berlin. It’s well-known for a slightly more posh selection of vintage and second-hand goods, from clothes to records. The location also holds historical significance, located near where President Kennedy delivered his “I am a Berliner” speech in 1963. (Tip: This is one of the few markets open on Saturdays!)
What: used and vintage clothing, housewares and records
When: Every Saturday and Sunday, 8-16
Where: John F. Kennedy Square 1, 10825 Schöneberg | Map

4. RAW Gelände Flea Market
One of the coolest flea markets in town! Find it in the trendy RAW-Gelände (Short for Reichsbahn-Ausbesserungs-Werk), known for its graffiti art and alternative vibes. (Go now before developers dismantle this very unique space!) Grab yourself some sick new threads then take a break at one of the many bars and cafes nearby. Or wander over to nearby Boxenhagner Platz for round two. (Hint: Don’t forget to take a spin in the Teledisco!)
What: Cool used and alternative clothing, independent designers
Where: RAW-Gelände, Revaler Str. 99, 10245 Friedrichshain | Map
When: Sundays 9-17
5. Flea Market at Marheinekeplatz (Bergmannkiez)
The flea market in Bergmannkiez is just as pretty as the neighborhood itself. Think: a beautiful historical square location, focusing on vintage clothes, children’s items, and homemade items.
There are a few food options but the area is scattered with cafes and restaurants, making it a great place to spend the afternoon. If you’re hungry (and there on a Saturday) the nearby Marheineken-Markthalle also offers delicious food options. Tip: if you have kids in tow, this one is your best bet!
What: Kid friendly, children clothing & toys, vintage clothing & local designers
When: Saturdays 10-16, Sundays 11-17 (summer) 11-16 (winter)
Where: Marheinekeplatz, 10961 Kreuzberg | Map
6. Flea Market at Arkonaplatz
Just a short stroll away from bustling Mauerpark, you’ll find the small but charming Arkonaplatz. This market is one of the best for furniture and home decor. If you want a genuine DDR lamp for your flat or an ashtray as a souvenir, this is probably the best spot in the city.
What: Vintage and antique furniture, home goods, clothing
When: Sundays 10-17 (summer) 10-16 (winter)
Where: Arkonaplatz 1, 10435 Mitte | Map
7. Second Hand & Flea Market at Kranoldplatz
A true locals’ favorite haunt! If you want to get away from the more popular markets, this flea market is a great choice. Think: all the used clothing, shoes, and accessories you need plus an array of unusual and interesting aspiring Berlin designers and entrepreneurs. This one’s a great pick for street food as well!
What: Cast-offs from cool Berliners, local designers + street food
When: Every second Sunday 11-17, March to November
Where: Kranoldplatz, 12051 Neukölln | Map

8. Antique & Book Market at Bode Museum
If you love antiques or books, the flea market at Bode Museum is your best choice. With its stunning Museum Island location, overlooking the Spree you’ll find a range of stalls selling books, art, old coins, and small furniture, including modern antiques and rare finds.
What: Mostly focused on books and antiques
When: Every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday 10-17
Where: Opposite the Bode Museum, Am Kupfergraben, 10117 Mitte | Map

9. Fehrbelliner Platz
The flea market at Fehrbelliner Platz offers a range of vintage and antique clothing, ceramics, and home goods. On Sundays, the focus turns to art, with a red carpet rolled out and many local artists featured.
This used to be a great stop either before or after Thai Park, but unfortunately, Thai Park has been forced to change locations.
What: Vintage clothing and housewares, Sundays feature art
When: Every Saturday and Sunday (except some public holidays) 10-16
Where: Fehrbelliner Platz 1, 10707 Wilmersdorf | Map

10. Boxhagener Platz Flea Market
Vibe with the locals every Sunday at Boxi. This market has something for everyone: loads of Berliners selling off their wardrobes, combined with furniture, home wear, records, books and more. (I buy my incense and palo santo here!)
Grab yourself a coffee and stroll around the platz, then take a break at the park in the center or grab lunch at one of the many restaurants nearby.
What: Used and vintage clothing, furniture, home goods + more
When: Every Sunday 10-18
Where: Boxhagener Platz 1, 10245 Friedrichshain | Map

11. Berliner Trödelmarkt on Straße des 17. Juni (Tiergarten)
This flea market at Tiergarten (the oldest in Berlin!) is well loved for its mix of junk and real antiques and collectibles. Whether you’re an antique lover or sorting through miles of junk to find that one perfect treasure, you’ll be more than pleased with the selection here.
What: A mix of antiques and junk
When: Saturdays and Sundays 10-17
Where: Str. des 17. Juni 110, 10623 Tiergarten (next to the S-Bahn) | Map
